The A1024-LP was the first and only consolidation, distribution, termination point and multiuser outlet that is UL© listed and complies with TIA/EIA 568 A, TSB-75 and NEC 300-22-B & C. The A1024-LP is not installed above the ceiling, rather... it is part of the ceiling. Mounted to the building structure and positioned within the ceiling tile grid system, this revolutionary product has been designed as a barrier between the Plenum and Non-Plenum environment and the work space below. This enclosure also allows complete access for moves, adds or changes (MAC's) from below the ceiling tile. The A1024-HR, for Active Zone Distribution, is the second generation ceiling unit of American Access Technologies. Like its predecessor, this unit takes advantage of the ceiling space to bring you the benefits of zone cabling. You can now bring fiber to the zone for increased bandwidth and added flexibility. If you need zone cabling in a raised floor environment, American Access Technologies has the RF Series line of zone cabling consolidation cabinets. American Access's Zone Cabling Termination Cabinets are the only products that meet the standards and requirements of the telecommunications industry, including Building Industrial Consulting Services International, National Electric Code regulations NEC 300-22 B & C, American National Standards Institute/Telephone Industry Association/Electrical Industry Association publication 568 A, as well as the zone cabling guidelines as specified by the newly released Telecommunications Systems Bulletin - TSB 75. This product is the only product tested by Underwriters Laboratories for this application. Therefore, Underwriters Laboratories has assigned this product to a new category listing, which is identified as UL 1863, telecommunications cabinets. A UL listing is the higest category a product can achieve, implying that as tested, all components of the product work as expected.
