American Access Technologies, Inc. is the only company in the United States that manufactures communication enclosures for the various types of "Zone Cabling" (TSB 75 and TSB 72) type applications.This is the second generation of our Communications Enclosure totally dedicated to "Open Office Architecture," more commonly known as "Zone Cabling."
This enclosure is also designed to separate the barriers of Plenum/Non-Plenum environments and the work space below. The communications equipment manufacturers can now install their equipment into the ZONE.
The A1024-HR mounts into the ceiling tile (2 ft. x 4 ft.) grid system and is supported to the building structure by threaded rods, just as our standard model does.
Cabinets shall be suitable for installation in a nominal 24" x 48", lay-in ceiling. Units shall have a hinged door, that swings down into the occupied space, upon which can be mounted various combinations of jack/patch/punch panels for Category 3,4,5, as well as fiber or coaxial cables or electrically powered hubs and routers.
Any manufacturer's standard 19-inch rack mount Hubs and Routers that take up to two rack spaces can be outfitted on the Equipment Mounting Plate by special mounting brackets made for the particular brand name of equipment. All connecting devices are mounted on a mounting plate that attaches to the top of the Hubs and Routers. Connecting equipment can be mounted in three different angles of 0 degrees, 30 degrees, and 45 degrees for better accessibility and more flexibility.
This new unit is a fully recognized Telecommunications Closet or Cabinet (TC) and is approved and listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL®) for 110V AC 60Hz to power HUBS and ROUTERS.
WARRANTY: The ZCTC-HR cabinets shall carry a one (1) year product warranty against defects in material and workmanship. The one year warranty period shall begin from the date of the acceptance of the installation by the owner.

Cable Entry/Exit: 6 inch high x 3 inch long opening with approved re-enterable fire-rated foam kit.
Hubs and Routers: Stackable and rackable Hubs up to 2 rack spaces only, varies by manufacturer. Bay Networks, 3 Com, Cabletron, etc.
Electrical Access: 110V AC, 60 HZ, 15 Amp Max. Fan - 12V DC, 6-12 CFM. Filter UL® Listed.
Supports: Provide rod support angles, with drilled holes, at each corner of the box, above the ceiling.
There shall be provisions for the attachment of ceiling tile to the underside of the box and door.
